I started working at Pacific Gateway when I moved from Ottawa to Toronto. From the moment I arrived, I have thoroughly enjoyed the school, the city, the staff and especially the students.There is a wonderful multicultural atmosphere at this school with students from all around the world coming to study here.The teachers also provide a multicultural component to the school as many have lived and taught in countries outside North America. The students are active and participate in the wealth of activities and workshops offered after school.There truly is a family feeling to the school.When you walk in the front door and are greeted by smiling and happy faces, it immediately makes you feel welcome and glad to have chosen this school. I hope to see you all soon!!

I have been a continuing education fan since the early nineties. It is always great to learn new things. Studying another language is very rewarding. Having been an international student myself when I was younger, I understand how wonderful it can be to live and study in a different country. It is a great way to improve international understanding. Pacific Gateway offers the best of that international experience, which can enrich the life experience and language fluency of any student at whatever level. In Toronto, multi-culturalism, culture, art, and even hip-hop are just a hop and a skip away. Pacific Gateway Toronto is the world in one city with new friends on every corner.

Working at Pacific Gateway International College is fantastic. All the students are very friendly and keen to improve their English. I am from New Zealand and I find it very interesting meeting (and teaching) people from other countries. I have lived in many different countries so I understand what itﾕs like for my students to live in a new country and not be able to speak the local language very well. Being a foreigner in Canada, I appreciate how kind people are in Toronto, how safe the city is and the fabulous shopping!ﾊ The teachers at Pacific Gateway are all extremely professional and supportive for both students and other teachers. We are all qualified and undergo regular training to keep up to date with the latest teaching methods. PGIC is a fun place to work (and study) and Toronto is an exciting city to discover. I totally recommend it!!

The school's location is very convenient and easy to get to. It is right downtown. Also, I like the size of the school, it's not too small nor too big. I think the teachers really help students to improve their English and they have strict English-Only and attendance rules. It is very difficult to keep studying English every day, but teachers relieve students stress because they have lived abroad too. I like the system of morning class and afternoon classes. The reason is that I could make as many friends as possible through the different classes. The discussion classes help students to express their feelings and to make students become friends. In CCC, I realized I had to be assertive. I have enjoyed participating in CCC regularly. CCC is the best afterschool option because the Conversation Partners are of a similar age to the students and help you learn natural English. I think Pacific Gateway has many beneficial activities. Many are not expensive, and there are a lot that are free. The activities help students learn a lot about Toronto. Toronto is very multi-cultural. There are a lot of nationalities from Asian to Latin American. I have never felt like an outsider.
